UK Dirt F2 Heat
2002 to 2009
Brief History
UK Dirt F2 Racing League was born from
Brisca Heat F2.
In 2002 a League was created and drivers used cars that were
copies of real life drivers of the time.
Drivers would meet in a chat room, whereby races were called and each driver
would "connect" to one drivers PC via the game (based on Nascar Heat).
The race with a maximum of 8 - 10 cars were run via a random grid in 2002, then
graded order from 2003 onwards and the
results were collated and tables created.
Online League had all the Championships running as per
real life.
Over the years the game has evolved, we moved away from personal servers and ran the races in dedicated servers
which can hold up to 30 cars, drivers have their own designed cars, but the
principles are the same as day one, and the Heat League followed real life as much as
it was possible to.

British
Championship Grid 2007
2009 saw the launch of F2 rFactor. With better
graphics and game physics, this base game took over from "Heat"
in 2010 and
become the prime base game. Therefore we said a sad farewell to "Heat" at the
end of 2009, after 7 years of true entertainment. It will be sadly missed.
333
Drivers took up the challenge over 274 meetings and the "All
Time Stats" for 2003-2009 have been generated to record the mods history.
